UFC 149 prelims draw one million viewers
The UFC 149 preliminary card special from last Saturday night drew one million viewers on FX.
MMAjunkie.com reported the numbers.
The one million viewers is a bit on the low end, as far as the UFC 149 special stacks up against former FX broadcasts. The 1.8 million viewers for UFC 148 is currently the highest watched UFC special to broadcast on FX.
The preliminary card special, which broadcast for two hours, featured, most notably, Ryan Jimmo's record-tying knockout victory over Anthony Perosh, along with a back-and-forth scrap between bantamweights Bryan Caraway and Mitch Gagnon.
The main card broadcast featured a bantamweight interim title fight between Urijah Faber and Renan Barao. The latter walked away with the win and the belt.
