Condit on challenge: I'm In

Following his dominant victory over B.J. Penn at UFC on Fox 5, Rory McDonald had one thing on his mind: Carlos Condit. McDonald would then take that thought and air it out in front of the world, challenging the "Natural Born Killer" to bout sometime in March, when the UFC is slated to hold an event in Montreal.

On Fuel TV's "UFC Tonight", Ariel Helwani said he had spoken to Condit and offered his response to McDonald.

"I'm in." That's all Carlos Condit said. He said the fight makes a lot of sense to him and he thinks the fans will love it, so it appears we'll have a rematch.

McDonald and Condit met previously at UFC 115, a bout which saw the young Canadian dominate Condit for most of the fight. However with only seconds remaining in the third round, Condit would go on to defeat McDonald with ground and pound. The loss would be the first and only in McDonald's career, and one he calls the most embarrassing of his career.

While it remains to be seen if UFC matchmakers make the bout, Dana White stated earlier this week that the would try and make the fight.
