Siver versus Swanson at UFC on FUEL TV 7

UFC on FUEL TV 7 has found its co-main event as featherweights Cub Swanson and Dennis Siver will meet in what is sure to be a wild series of scraps that could bring the winner extremely close to a shot at the 145 lb. belt.

Both fighters have collected victories over mid-level competition in the featherweight division, but it will be this match that will determine which of the two striking specialists will enter the realm of top contenders as a new threat to the likes of Chad Mendes and Chan Sung-Jung.

Swanson has set the stage for a major comeback with three consecutive wins, all by either knockout or TKO. This will be Siver's third fight since making the move to featherweight, most recently earning a unanimous decision at UFC on FOX 5 after smothering Nam Phan on the ground with elbows and punches.

Siver and Swanson are both known for their accuracy and knockout power, but Siver's versatile use of all eight limbs differs greatly from the aggressive barrages of Cub Swanson. The technical kickboxer will look derail Swanson from eclipsing his previous reputation as an inconsistent fighter.
