Dan Hardy vs Matt Brown Added To UFC on Fox 7

Potential Fight of the Night added to April 20 card

A bout between welterweight sluggers Matt Brown and Dan Hardy has been added to the already highly anticipated UFC on FOX 7 card.

According to MMAWeekly, the fight was confirmed with verbal agreements in place between the two camps.

Brown, who had one of the best years in all of MMA in 2012, went on an impressive 4-0 run. This will mark his second appearance on a FOX card, as he defeated Mike Swick by knockout at UFC on Fox 5.

Former number one contender Dan Hardy has also found himself on a winning streak, going 2-0 in 2012, after finding himself on a  4 fight losing streak. He last fought at UFC on Fuel TV: Struve vs. Miocic, where he defeated TUF 7 champion Amir Sadollah by unanimous decision.

As it was previously announced this week, the UFC on FOX 7 event is headlined by Benson Henderson vs. Gilbert Melendez for the undisputed lightweight championship. The event will be co-headlined by heavyweights Frank Mir and Daniel Cormier.
