Hendo and "Bones" tweet verbal slaps

Dan Henderson and Jon Jones may not have fought at the now dead UFC 151, but that doesn't mean they wont trade verbal jabs at each other.

To ring in the new year Hendo posted a message on his twitter, urging everyone to stay safe, while also taking a shot at the light-heavyweight champion:

Wishin everyone a Happy New year!! Be safe!No drinking and driving and hitting telephone poles

Jones, who crashed his Bentley Continental GT into a pole back in May and was charged with a DWI, took notice to Henderson's quip and responded:

lol the old guy got jokes.. that a boy... on to the next one

While they never got a chance to fight each other at UFC 151, there is still a good chance two could face each other in the octagon rather than twitter. Of course this all pends on the result of the "old guy's" fight with Lyoto Machida at UFC 157 and Jones own fight with Chael Sonnen following their stint on the new season of The Ultimate Fighter.
