Bones and White Continue Verbal Warfare Over UFC 151

While it would seem that all the controversy surrounding the historic cancellation of UFC 151 has come to a close, all the drama that led up to the cancellation appears to have left quite a mark on the relationship between UFC President Dana White and light heavyweight champion Jon Jones.

White and Jones have had some relatively harsh words for each other as of late, most of which stemmed from Jon Jones declaring on "The MMA Hour" that he felt that the UFC "treated him like a piece of meat" when they completely aborted his main event match-up with Dan Henderson that was supposed to be held on September 1, 2012.

As usual, Dana White did not let this remark go unanswered. White took to "The Jim Rome Show" to respond to Jones criticism of the UFC with:

"I wonder how the piece of meat was feeling when we bought him the Bentley."

The angered White continued to address Jones' statement with a criticism of his own.

"That's a little diva there -- being treated like a piece of meat. I think [Jones] was being a diva. It is what it is."

Looks like Jones had to learn the hard way about what happens if he dares question Dana White's "unique" business tactics. Let's hope this will teach "Bones" why it's best to just let his fists do the talking at just 25 years of age.

But it's hard to blame quite possibly the greatest talent to ever grace the octagon for expressing a little sense of entitlement every now and then.
