"Rumble" meets Arlovski at WSOF 2

World Series of Fighting and NBC Sports Network announced big news today of a three-year programming deal. Now, the first event to take place under the new agreement has a main event.

Former UFC heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski will meet former UFC welterweight contender Anthony Johnson in the headlining bout of WSOF 2 in March.

The contest takes place at the Revel Resort and Casino in Atlantic City on March 23.

MMAjunkie.com reported the news earlier today.

Arlovski debuted with World Series of Fighting at the inaugural event last November, earning a technical knockout win. He has won four of his last five contests, including a December win in Russia.

Meanwhile, Johnson's last bout came at WSOF 1 against D.J. Linderman at light heavyweight. "Rumble" improved his record at 205 lbs. to 3-0 with the win. He is expected to compete against Arlovski at heavyweight, then immediately drop back down to light heavyweight.
