Carmont welcomes Larkin to UFC in April

Four-fight UFC veteran Francis Carmont hopes to hinder the Strikeforce invasion at UFC on FOX 7.

Undefeated in the UFC, Carmont looks to make it 5-0 when he welcomes undefeated Strikeforce veteran Lorenz Larkin to the Octagon.

The pair clash on April 20 in San Jose, California. A lightweight title fight between Ben Henderson and Gilbert Melendez headlines the card.

Larkin ended his Strikeforce career in July with a unanimous decision win over Robbie Lawler. The fight was his second of 2012. He originally lost his first to Muhammed Lawal via knockout, but "King Mo" failed a post-fight drug test, leading to a no contest.

Meanwhile, Carmont took home a narrow split-decision win over Tom Lawlor at UFC 154 for his ninth straight victory. His last loss came on April 19, 2008.
