St. Preux, Villante debut at UFC 159

A light heavyweight bout between Strikeforce veterans Ovince St. Preux and Gian Villante is set for UFC 159.

Newsday reported the match up late last evening, indicating that the fight will likely take place on the FX broadcast.

The contest will be each fighter's UFC debut, taking place on April 27 in Newark, New Jersey.

St. Preux last competed in August at Strikeforce: Rousey vs. Kaufman, earning a knockout win over T.J. Cook, his sixth as a Strikeforce fighter. His only loss with the promotion came against Gegard Mousasi.

Villante, meanwhile, has not competed since last May when he earned a decision victory at Strikeforce: Barnett vs. Cormier. After starting his Strikeforce career with back-to-back losses, he finished up his career with three straight wins before joining the UFC roster.
