Report: Amagov vs. Spang Set For April Event In Stockholm

Spang, Amagov meet at April event overseas

Two more veterans of Strikeforce are heading over to the UFC as welterweights Chris Spang and Adlan Amagov will debut at UFC on FUEL TV 9.

The event takes place in Stockholm, Sweden on April 6.

Aftonbladet, a Swedish website, reported the news on Friday.

Amagov competed four times under the Strikeforce banner, earning three wins. His only loss during that span came against Robbie Lawler last January.

Meanwhile, Spang will make his UFC debut in front of his home crowd. The native of Sweden will fight in his home country for the first time since his professional debut in October of 2008. He finished his Strikeforce career with a 2-1 record.

UFC on FUEL TV 9 features a light heavyweight tilt between Alexander Gustafsson and Gegard Mousasi.
