Velasquez, Silva meet again at UFC 160

Here comes another heavyweight-stacked card.

A rematch between heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez and Antonio Silva serves as the headliner for UFC 160 this May, while Alistair Overeem and Junior dos Santos, the former champ, will meet in the co-main event.

UFC president Dana White announced the news in Ireland.

Silva and Velasquez first met on the all-heavyweight main card of UFC 146, and the latter easily disposed of the Brazilian, earning a first round technical knockout. Velasquez would go on to regain his heavyweight title against dos Santos at UFC 155 last December.

Meanwhile, Silva has fought on a pair of occasions since the loss, earning wins over Travis Browne and Overeem, both by stoppage.

The co-main event pairing is hardly a surprise as, leading up to UFC 155, dos Santos targeted Overeem with remarks about performance enhancing drugs.

The fight will be dos Santos' first since his lopsided loss to Velasquez at the end of 2012, while Overeem is fresh off a surprising technical knockout loss to Silva. He and Silva met on the main card of UFC 156.

UFC 160 is set for May 25 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. No other bouts have been announced for the card.
