Submission assassins Maia & Shields agree to future bout
Ariel Helwani reported the news on Tuesday's edition of UFC Tonight:

Since dropping to to 170lbs, the Brazilian has been red hot in winning his last 3 including a dominant decision victory over former contender, Jon Fitch, at UFC 156. With his recent streak, the former middleweight has now found himself ranked as #4 in the UFC's official welterweight standings.
Much like Maia, Shields also carries one of the sport's most dangerous submission arsenals, only he has done so by combining the "gentle art" with his wrestling to form his own personal brand of grappling which he calls "American Jiu Jitsu".
We last saw the former Strikeforce champion controversially defeating Tyron Woodley back in June. However, since joining the UFC, Shields has found mixed success in the promotion by amassing not only a 3-2-1 record, but also a failed drug suspension.
