Strikeforce: Rockhold vs. Jardine Salaries: Robbie Lawler, ‘King’ Mo Lawal Lead Paydays

Rockhold takes $90,000 for title defense

Robbie Lawler led the pack of 18 fighters' take-home pay for Saturday's Strikeforce: Rockhold vs. Jardine card. The Nevada State Athletic Commission released the numbers to HeavyMMA on Monday following the event, which took place at The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.

Lawler made $150,000 for his first-round TKO of Adlan Amagov. The salary was a straight show fee with no win bonus attached. Lawler was the only fighter to make more than $100,000 for his fight. Muhammed "King Mo" Lawal made $95,000 for his win over Lorenz Larkin. The former light heavyweight champion made $80,000 to show and an additional $15,000 for a win bonus.

And main event middleweight champion Luke Rockhold cleared $90,000 for his first title defense, a first-round TKO of Keith Jardine. Rockhold made $65,000 to show and a $25,000 win bonus against Jardine, a former UFC light heavyweight, who made $30,000. The night's other big winner was Tyron Woodley, who made $60,000, including a $30,000 win bonus, for his unanimous decision over Jordan Mein.
