The UFC and its new cable partners continue to roll out new content.
"Ultimate Insider," the UFC's new weekly magazine-style show with host Jon Anik, premieres Tuesday night at 10:30 p.m. Eastern on Fuel TV.
Anik joined the UFC in October after several years at ESPN, where he was most notable in the MMA world for his hosting stint on "MMA Live." The new show is expected to include fighter interviews, highlights, news and behind-the-scenes footage. Tuesday's debut will feature UFC president Dana White, UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones and former Strikeforce light heavyweight champion Dan Henderson.
Fuel TV has steadily increased its UFC programming and last year, in advance of the promotion's seven-year deal with Fox, which owns Fuel, said it would feature more than 2,000 hours of UFC content in 2012.
Current UFC shows on the cable channel include "UFC Tonight," with hosts Todd Harris and Kenny Florian, plus staples like the UFC's "Countdown" shows, re-airings of "Primetime," "UFC Unleashed," and more. Additionally, the channel hosts live prelim fights and will be the home for several live cards, including next week's UFC on Fuel TV: Sanchez vs. Ellenberger.
Anik is part of the UFC's "B Team" of broadcasters with Florian. The two will call the action for live events on FX and Fuel. Additionally, Anik just did the call with Florian for the UFC's 3D broadcast of UFC 143.
