Johnson vs. Dodson announced for January
A flyweight title fight between champion Demetrious Johnson and challenger John Dodson headlines the UFC's return to Chicago.
The event, "UFC On FOX 6," takes place on January 26 at the United Center.
UFC officials announced the bout, but bouts were first reported on UFC Tonight.
Johnson earned the title at UFC 152, while Dodson earned the title shot at "UFC On FX 5."
But the 125 lb. fight was not the only one announced for the card.
UFC lightweight contenders Donald Cerrone and Anthony Pettis finally meet, and they will do so on the main card of the FOX event.
Cerrone and Pettis have, for some time, been eager to fight one another. The 155 lb. clash brings together two of the most entertaining WEC fighters in the UFC.
