"Wonderboy" vs. Saldollah likely for May

Former TUF champion Amir Sadollah will bring his Muay Thai arsenal with him against Kempo karate expert Stephen Thompson at at a yet to be named May 25 event.

MMAFighting first reported the news:

Sources told MMA Fighting's Ariel Helwani on Friday that Stephen "Wonderboy" Thompson will face Amir Sadollah in a welterweight battle on Sat., May 25. While a venue for the unnamed event has yet to be determined, the UFC traditionally holds Memorial Day weekend cards in Las Vegas.

Saldollah,who has spent his entire MMA career in the UFC, is now 6-4. He last fought Dan Hardy in September, losing by unanimous decision.

Thompson, most known by UFC fans for his headkick knockout debut against Dan Stittgen at UFC 143, last fought Matt Brown at UFC 145 in a losing effort. He is now 1-1 in the promotion.
