Santiago vs. Nelson set for welterweight bout
Jorge Santiago has stepped in to replace Justin Edwards in his fight with Icelandic native and rising prospect Gunnar Nelson in a welterweight bout on the UFC on Fuel 7 card set to take place February 16th in London.
The fight was announced by the UFC's UK twitter account:
Due to injury @fasteddymma is out of #UFCLondon2013, @gunninelson will now face @santiagomma at Wembley Arena on 16th Feb!

The stoic Renzo Gracie black belt Nelson, was last seen in the octagon when he easily defeated Damarques Johnson with a rear naked choke in the 1st round back in September. Of his ten straight victories, seven have come by way of submission.
Santiago, who had recently signed with the now defunct Strikeforce, will be getting his third chance to showcase his skills in the UFC. He was last seen in the promotion at UFC 136 where he lost to Demian Maia, however that bout was at middleweight. However since being dropped he has found himself on a two fight winning streak.
