At the 2009 Abu Dhabi Combat Club Submission Wrestling World Championship, UFC light heavyweight Vinny Magalhaes and current UFC middleweight number one contender Chris Weidman met in the Absolute Division during the second round of the tournament. The match would end with Magalhaes forcing Weidman to tap with his second flying armbar of the day.
